Victorian Securities Corporation Limited (formerly Ballarat Securities Corporation Limited) was established in 1960. It is a well respected Company in the fixed interest and lending markets and has a proud heritage. V ictorian Securities Corporation Limited is the holder of an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL No. 237904) .

In its early days, Ballarat Securities enabled the local community to invest large or small amounts in a Mortgage Investment Company that supported local ownership in homes, farms and some commercial ventures.

The Company pioneered guidelines which demanded capital adequacy, provision of real capital and restrictions in respect to mortgage lending.

The Company now offers invitations to invest in Deposit Notes through a Prospectus issue. We have an association with The Trust Company (Nominees Limited). which acts as a Trustee for Deposit Note holders.

In the late 1990's with the continual demand for expanded services and the need for higher and sophisticated technology a decision was made as to how we could better look after our clients in the year 2000 and beyond.

In August 1999 Victorian Securities announced its alliance with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited. We deliberately chose the `Bendigo' which is Australia's only regional based Bank and the only one that really cares for people who live both within and outside the capital cities.
